Canon EOS D7

The most noticeable thing about this new camera is that it’s Canon’s second HD video recording enable DSLR. A new feature I like about the D7 is the dual axis electronic level function that shows tilt and roll angles.

Key Features:

  • 18.0MP APS-C COMOS sensor
  • ISO 100-12,800
  • 8.0 frames per second continuous shooting
  • 1080p HD video recording with manual controls
  • New 19-point AF system
  • 3.0 inch LCD (Clear View II with 920,000 dots)
  • 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage viewfinder
  • Wireless flash control
  • Environmental sealing

The view finder is larger than the 50D model I have and has a 19-point AF system for more detailed and customizable focusing. For a more in depth review the Canon 7D see dpreview.
